Law is law whatever her intentions are she break the law she should be be ready to face the music. Vandalism is vandalism regardless of motives and reason.
I feel sorry for her but I guess she knew what's she's doing is illegal.
Overall... I do find what she does, with the sticker and spray painting kind of 'Cute'... if only she could have done it differently... like, Paste the sticker... take photo, remove it. Paint the Road or Wall with a removable paint... take photo, remove paint.
She did what she did... and will have to face the consequences of her action. We cannot have double standard regarding the law here. Lets just hope that the sentencing will be a short jail time with a fine.
should be fined for being a nuisance but not under vandalize..... after all, nothing serious like set fire burn places down.
The vandalism act locally is pretty all encompassing actually. Vandalism includes writing, drawing, painting, marking or inscribing, sticking posters etc.. Setting fire and burning property will be arson already ..
then i change to: should be fined for being a nuisance but not under vandalize..... after all, nothing serious like drawing, spray on important buildings like Istana LOL....
it will cost tax payers money to clean, restore the damage cause by vandalization.then i change to: should be fined for being a nuisance but not under vandalize..... after all, nothing serious like drawing, spray on important buildings like Istana LOL....

first you must "like", than you will "good at it", and needless to say people will come to you when you become "specialise in this area".Wondering.... is M Ravi going to be her defence lawyer
He always 'like' this kind of cases...
She could have used chalk instead... and removable static cling plastic for the stickers...

This is Singapore, not some Western country. I see a lot of friends who became opinionated after studying, working abroad. Some even have different accent. Gobbling up ideals of the west like nothing.
Hey, we are still brown, black and yellow skinned. The western civilized world still brand us as inferior and asian though we know how diverse "asian" is.
I think the arguement of artistic expression/freedom boils down to this mentality. East vs West beliefs.
We don't get this kind of coffee shop talk 20 years ago, could be seen as uber petty those days. Could still be, just revisit this 5 years later.
seriously, do petitions even work? lol
