Rumour said it will come on the 15th June, just before the Canon EOS experience.

That makes sense. Satisfy the BBB itch after trying it out. :bsmilie:

They should sell it there on the spot....I think people will bring stack of cash there!!!

I hope I have the cash....but I think I will save for 300 F2.8 first!
Agree fully, use it with that MkII of yours! Killa lens. My dream lens for now.

Frankly speaking, no need to spend so much money on camera bodies. Any EOS DSLRs can do the job. There is no end to it.

Buy more useful lenses will be wiser choice.

Seriously, this ought to be made sticky at the top of this sub forum. Very sound advice.

err.. while this is true for a 1DMII or 5D to MIII, it is not accurate for a 30D body to 1DMIII... Just the focus accuracy and noise control.. how can we say that all bodies are the same...

"I dreaming of the white christmas"....Opps I mean white lens(300F2.8)! Darn...as I read the lens book, this lens never fail to make my heart itch!

30D is a very capable body! Don't under estimate it. 5fps is actually very good already!

the 30d 5fps feels very laggy and flaccid. doesnt feel like how a true 5fps should sound like.

try a nikon f100 with grip. that should be how a true 5fps should sound like. it sounds more rapid and more robust

My young Jedi, of course every EOS body will be different.

You have yet seen the light. Hence, you are not able to understand what Garion is trying to convey.

However, you will definitely see the light at some stages in life.

Humm....I don't really care much of how 5fps sounds like actually, as long as it takes 5fps. I tried my friends 30D @5fps, it is really 5fps when I shoot at 1/500 sec. I hold the shutter for 2 sec using the electronic shutter release cable, then I count the number of frames. In fact it took 11 frames in 2 sec.

See the light, I must  Thanks for that piece of advise. Resist the force... I am going use more my 30D :sweatsm:

I'm now dreaming of a new 5dmk2, or 1ds mk3... FF all the way!
