After 42 days, Malaysia announced the search has reached critical juncture, I would have thought the 1st, 2nd or third day would be critical. :dunno: Maybe after 100 days they would announce the search reach "very critical juncture". :think:

Well open ocean cloud is super low.... 150 - 300m.

Fog or Cloud = lets call it water vapour

Well, i tend to agree to that.

One day debris not found, there is still hope.

The bad omen is that debris will never be found. And so the good omen is that there is always hope. LOL

The speed with which they dropped the possibility of other locations is amazing. For the Maldives sighting by many natives, it was dropped based on the word of 1 person - the Maldives defence chief.

Inmarsat refuses to share radar data with other world renown experts. Maybe out of a fear that they may be proved to have made big errors in their assessment that MH370 is in south Indian Ocean. It is selfishness.

Prob because batt life of blackbox pinger is only 30days..batt on mh370 was only 25-20days max..

After that I wonder how they search..

If the expiry is June 2014, it means that the, pinger in this case, will work for the stated requirement of 30 days. It cannot be shorter than 30 days as that would be non-compliant with the requirement.

The manufacturer provides the life guideline on basis of test results which MUST meet the stated requirements, which stipulates the minimum criteria. Yes, if you have fresh batteries, it will work for longer than that but there are no marks or credit for 'being better'.

The expected batteries life is stated by the blackbox pinger batteries manufacturer/president of the company Dukane Seacom of Sarasota Florida as reported in the news, which includes CNN. So whose "statement" to believe? Yours?
