Here's the ultimate:

And planes are not capable of changing directions multiple times? Please read the links you post and try to understand what is written there.

Sure... but if the plane changed direction to south-west instead of south-east then BAM! Diego Garcia...

The US operation, if it existed, appeared to be very complex. Why don't the US get to deliver the "cargo" from Seychelles Islands direct to Diego Garcia, or do a mid-ocean transfer of the "cargo" to a US warship? Or bundle up with their base regular supplies to be delivered to the Indian Ocean airbase? Strange.......

If the plane changed direction then the data from the satellite would look different. Why do you think they draw this 'arc'?

Seems like the Iranian or the chinese has snatched their cargo and they are trying to snatch it back? LOL. All going secretly?

Again, did you all these links?
The company is INMARSAT, located in London. Transmission capacities are contracted by Boeing for their flight data transfer.

Stick to facts.

We talking about conspiracy theories lah. Anyway, the link said nothing about where the plane possibly turned to. After all... "Abbott, who earlier Monday told journalists he had no information that the flight may have come close to Australia, said he was responding to a request from Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak."

but!

facts are facts. and then the theory is debunked

The facts (at this point) are that the plane could be anywhere.
This is not a fact but an assumption. Based on several facts (flight speed, fuel, fuel consumption) this 'anywhere' has limitations, therefore the several assumptions flying around.

True, but if we draw the circle of the fuel limit, Diego Gracia *IS* within that range but anything that direction is dismissed. Why leh?

One of the 3 news network CNN / BBC / Fox News invited expert guest just said yesterday and today on TV, that as far as region near to India is concerned, it may be possible to overfly undetected because some of the radar installations are in bad condition; and they are operated on a "as-required" basis. Meaning they are switched on when India feels there is likely to be a threat. But most of the time switched off to save cost.

India of course, now says otherwise. It is a matter of national pride. And to insist that they are on the ball.

Because the satellite data do not point in that direction. Based on the drawing it looks to me as if the satellite is able to recognize the angle in which the signal comes in, but not the specific direction. That's why they have these two sections of the circle that match with the possible distance. Compare maps and you will see that the satellite seems to be pretty much overhead the Diego Garcia airbase.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Indians caught pants down in the same way as the Malaysians.

The plane would be insured.
Nevertheless the SAR mission cost the country a great deal.
If wreck and fatalities are later confirmed, then the payout to families would be a lot.
Normal flight business of MAS does not currently seem to be affected according to news networks.
Anyway, it is national carrier and MLY government would shore it up financially.
They got a Petronas money mountain backing it.
MAS will still be around long after this.
