No disrespect
But Facebook ads are very insensitive
I saw a Facebook ad next to a few stories about the missing flight
It was for a laundry bleach "Vanish" -_____-

LOL, coincidence la, bro

Yeah.. not a single debris.. maybe there is a some kind of bermuda triangle

At this point of time, there should be some debris wash up the beach/shore line.
However, there are none.

No debris may be a good sign, all the theories about explosion may be wrong.
The aircraft may have been forced to land on a deserted island either by hijackers or some technical problem to the engine.

They may not be able to communicate with others because the radio is broken but at least there is a chance that they may have survive.

5 hours later than notice the plane is gone. Got debris also scattered like mad. When found, mostly a piece at everywhere.

It may not be terrorist.
Another 777 ever had control problems before.
If total electronic cut out pilot may not even send be able to send out distress call.

If it is established that it is the plane's fault, then Boeing 777 sales will take a hit & Boeing 777 world wide will be grounded until they resolve the problem.
Boeing 787 already having trouble. Another 787 made an emergency landing in Honolulu on 9 Mar 14.

But it may also be a maintenance issue.

The airline have report a financial crisis due to drop in earnings.
I hope this does not lead to poor maintenance and result in this tragedy :(

No matters how, regular maintenance for plane is a MUST! Else can ask them close shop since they are playing with other lives. Now we just got to wait and see what is the outcome.

B777 holds a very high ranking on reliability. On its electrical department, it has 2 main generators, 2 backup generators, 1 airborne aux power unit(independent power generator), 1 emergency ram air turbine generator and finally batteries. The backups comes online automatically depending on nature of failure. A single unit is able to provide power at minimum, to crucial systems such as flight control surfaces, flight displays, engine control and critical radios.

This one is sadly funny.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the passengers were of Asian appearance and criticised border officials for allowing them through security checkpoints.

“I am still perturbed. Can’t these immigration officials think? Italian and Austrian (passport holders) but with Asian faces?” he said.

An Iranian was involved in buying the air tickets through the Thai agency.
But it may just be a case of human trafficking, not terrorism.

A Thai travel agent who booked the men with stolen passports onto the missing plane, has told the FT that the tickets were arranged with an “Iranian contact” on behalf of clients looking for cheap tickets to Europe.
Benjaporn Krutnait, owner of the Grand Horizon travel agency in Pattaya, Thailand, said the Iranian, a long-term business contact who she knew only as “Mr Ali”, first asked her to book cheap tickets to Europe for the two men on March 1. Ms Benjaporn initially reserved one of the men on a Qatar Airways flight and the other on Etihad.

But the tickets expired when Ms Benjaporn did not hear back from Mr Ali. When he contacted her again on Thursday, she rebooked the men on the Malaysia Airlinesflight through Beijing because it was the cheapest available. Ms Benjaporn booked the tickets through China Southern Airlines via a code share arrangement.
A friend of Mr Ali paid Ms Benjaporn cash for the tickets, she said, adding that it was quite common for people to book tickets in Pattaya through middle men such as Mr Ali, who then take a commission.
