I am using a hotshoe cover for my LX3. Bought a Nikon one at $5, fits the LX3 well. I think better to use a hotshoe cover to protect the hotshoe circuit. If rain/water comes into contact there, might cause short circuit of the whole camera.

Hey all, just two quick questions from a newly lx3-wedded:

1. Is it still possible to get either the CLX3 or the Dlux leica leather casing in stores?
2. I'm also looking for a teleconverter to increase the lx3's zoom, any recommendations for any unit and how effective is it?

i am using a lowerpro D30 elastic casing , fits the cam just nice.. but need to stretch abit when putting in though
