free at home today and get itchy hand again. grab camera and took a snap downstairs and developed again;)

after one busy hours in bath room, result came out looks quite good, no uneven development:)

Brother, no wonder call you no reply. Any scratch because of the Jobo holder?

just finished processing my Bukit Brown shots...
made a silly mistake - i loaded 2 Velvia 50 sheets and 2 B&W HP5 sheets! (never check the film holder label properly).
wasted the 2 Hp5 sheets! it became totally blank after the process. Only comfort is that the 2 e6 sheets look fine.

show us the trans!

i followed the documents which losheng uploaded exactly and it works except uneven development:)

The development timing for each step is listed at the bottom of page 4 of the above document. The only step that needs strict temperature tolerance is the Color Developer step: +- 0.6 deg C. The rest of the steps are pretty tolerant of a few degrees of temperature change.

I have e6ed!

I made the tank warm by putting hot water and then tried to load the film by partially opening the dark bag..so have some light leak..fortunatley pics not destroyed!

was too kanchiong - broke my new konkia color theormometer - accurate to .05 on the first try...so resorted to my meat thermometer.

quite happy with the results..

Drop losheng a PM ;) he is helping the community do non profit mass orders of E6 chemicals from fuji.

Hahaha.. I did consider before, but I can only do 35mm and 120 format; which fotohub is still doing, so no point for me to compete with them. I also don't have a lot of space to keep chemicals lying around.. BW is doable because all my chemicals I use one shot only; make when needed, throw at the end, only keep fixer. Less things for me to manage.

Who you really wanna ask is losheng and his automatic development machine ;). That one is another story.. haha

do you all use yr fujihunt chemicals as one shot ?

for my tetenal 3 bath, this is what the document said "500 ml will process up to 6 rolls of 35 mm or 120 film. For 220 film, only 3 rolls should be processed before the chemicals are disposed of. Chemicals should be discarded after three runs regardless of the total number of rolls processed. See table B for reuse with extended times."

how many sheets of 4x5 will be equal to 1 roll of 35 or 120 slide?

zguy,

Normally I follow this format.

One 120 roll = 4x 4x5 sheets

1 roll of 35mm or 120 film has a total surface area of 80in2 so 4 sheets of 4x5 = 1 roll:)

ok thanks all. i usually uses 150ml to develop in my paterson orbital processer. so i guess i can developed up 8 sheets (2 runs) with that.

1 roll 135 = around 4 sheets of 4*5 or 1 sheet of 8*10.

You might need a bit of push for second developing. The chemical might have a bit of exhaustion after the first developing.

Hey, Xtol19, let me know if you are interested!

For the last 2 batches, each set of chemicals was splitted four ways, at a cost of about $241 per share. While this is cheap and cheerful, the configuration is slightly inconvenient, because the chemicals come bottled in a way that they won't run out at the same time. Each of us will run short of bleach first, and will have plenty of stabilizer lying around. If you would like to pick up a share, drop me a note, and then I will wait for another 3 more person to make another round of purchase.

On the other hand, if you would like to just get your hands dirty, I might be able to rebottle the chemicals into a 5 litre kit for you. All the chemicals will be bottled accordingly to their respective dilution to give a 5 liter working solution each. But the latter will involve extra cost due to time and materials involved. I figure each kit will be cost around $150 or so.
