I believe $617 is the dealer's cost, once GST is included. Saw the price lost with my own eyes. I paid $620.

The warranty online registration is a waste of time. They still want you to show receipt when you go to the service center. However, if there is additional 3 months warranty, then maybe there is something.

SG I paid $617 for it. Think that should be the best price le since HKG prices is very near already. So far personally , HKG prices are always around 15% n more cheaper than SG RRP.

Love the quick AF speed over the 20mm/1.7.
The focus ring is not as flimsy as Kai mentioned (to me), but others may feel differently.
