Ok for me, 12-35mm is quite versatile, rich in colour rendition and produces good IQ within 12 to 35mm with good bokeh. Also "24-hour" lens throughout dawn to midnight. It is my honest opinion.
Cannot agree more.

@iise7en so in your opinions, paying a premium for the 12-35mm over primes is justifiable?
@diddy what primes do you recommend for travel use? i dun think i'd keep switching lens unless i need lots of zoom, which i'll use 40-150 kit lens
Diddy said:I would recommend 25mm for the 1.4 when you need it, when u want to take a specific thing like a flower (e.g. cherry blossom in Japan) and 75mm 1.8 when u need the reach.
But I also agree with others that for travel 12-35 is one of the best choice cos most of the time u snap and go and wouldn't be too bothered about bokeh.

keithwee said:The 14-140 ain't that badit's the only one of the "older" lenses that I still keep n use in travels.
btw tamron will be releasing a 14-150 for the mft

just curious , is using lens with OIS turned on as good as using OMD's IBIS?
I find the camera IBIS better
