For me, I think the Nocti is the exception for lenses greater in length than 35mm. 6-bit is important. Light fall off at the corners can be 2-3 stops on a FF, and the 6-bit will correct some of it. Otherwise, you are paying a lot of $$ for f1 in the center.

Of course, the M8 is not FF, but still, the light fall off will then be may be 1-2 stops.
