How can you guys do this at midnight and expect people like me to sleep. This is totally not cricket!!! Now do the decent thing and tell me where to buy one!!!

(The poison in this forum is very very strong).

Need to ask a stupid question - How does one fit the Canon 0.95 onto the M8? Will a standard m-bayonet mount do? Will the lens need to be recalibrated? Pardon my ignorance.

Agreed with CooperS. :)
Camera23. Thanks for your effort. Thanks to your lovely model too:D:D:D
Thanks Camera23! Very good information and unselfish of you. :)

Actually, can I suggest that next time you do not put a label to the photos and let everyone pick their favourite? Hahaha.

Hi Camera23, I have a canon 50mm f1.2 ltm. I find the lens to have front focusing , yours seems to be great. Even encounter any problems with this lens???

oh man! my eyes still pick up the canon 0.95 as the most appealing. It also produces consistant results both indoors and outdoors. uber cool!

You need the mount to be modified. No, but like all lenses, some need calibration and some do not. As a note, Canon LTM lenses are atrocious in the QC, and you can see why many of us do not keep them. Nikkor is much superior in their lenses and in their QC for the same time period.

My Canon 50mm F1.2 are accurate, not problem for focusing, even at closed distance, same as the 50mm F0.95.

Wow..;p;p you received your new toy already, you also brought your lens the original filter and hood, Nice!

Filter no use for M8. 72mm size $$ is .

I have been shooting film with the IR filter. Would it cause problems?

According to the folks from the Leica User Forum, it does not cause a problem with film camera for lenses above 35mm.

well, tried 3 reputable shops here and they all told me that Leica is no longer making the noctilux. One of them even told me that they're expecting a replacement end of this year, after the photokina. Sorry if this is already old news.

So the question is any shops is singapore still have stock?

There is no more stock.

There are rumours that Leica has stopped production of the Noctilux. Any Noctilux you can find are from a previous batch. The rumoured replacement is 0.95 Noct to be revealed at Photokina 2008.

We know this, and this was the ex-CEO's pet project. It may happen and it may not happen. If too well corrected like the ASPH, then it would be sharp and not a signature lens.

I must be patient! (x1000)
