Leica 50mm f/1.0 Noctilux

Agree. F1.5 is nothing. Even for those who has been using F1.2 for ages are dying to lay their hands on f1. I have f1.2 for nikon , canon and olympus. But deep down, its the Noctilux thats on my no 1 list.

I go shoot some f0.95 pictures once my Canon 50mm comes within the next 2 weeks or so. But later, I will be using the Noctilux for my son's birthday in school .

Actually, I've done wonders with a 50/1.5 lens and ISO 800 film. Anything more and you really need a tripod. f/1.5 is already hard to control, f/1 would be worst!

True, this isn't my thread at all. But I just wanted to voice out an alternative if S$8000 proves too much to be a viable option.

I own a canon 50mm f1.2 but can say.. Pic from the Noctilux is really one of a kind.. Wow 8.5k !!! Can get M8 alreadly.. Than again,I rather use this lens on my m film body. Thanks gommy.

Wow..sweet!!! The bokeh from the candles's flame !!!
I am trying very hard and shot any F stop other than wide open so as to restrain myself to think about the Noctilux....I can so imagine a night shooting with the lens in Orchard Road with bokeh lights bulbs everywhere..

Mine is totally Mint, no marks, no scratches, etc. There will be a Canon 7sz and a 50mm f0.95 that will be on the block soon, together with a Zunow f1.1 in LTM that has never been used. Both are New Old Stock. :bigeyes: If I pass on the Canon, I may sell it to you instead.

This is at f5.6 I think. Are you sure the 60mm has the Noct look? I have not seen any myself. Perhaps you can share some photos? :bigeyes:
