I also brought 2

yes yes, the inversion agitation won't work very well as i learnt even there is 4 sheets in it (taco method).

Ok what else...
i use Kodak HC 110 as i read that it has a long shelf life even after opening ... i am still using it after one year :) tat how low volume my developing work is hahaha
Shanghai film i bought from Issac Chen on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/25x-SHEET-S...amera_Film&hash=item53e919a306#ht_3473wt_1185. US$15+6 for 25 sheets = about S$1/sheet

take good care of yourself bro....

well, will not start shooting with these big fellows straight away. I most likely will still run around with my 120mm roll film for a while to get use to this big camera.
I now need to go dig out all my pass darkroom equipment. I think I still have lots of papers in the club house.. haha...

Billy

Brother, I will be off to Hoor Larnn from this weekend until month end.
Must visit you when back. ;p

I use the taco method, but usually only do 2 at a time (:

I have two of my X-ray lung scans on the wall. That is freaking bigger than 4"x5".

LOL! That's indeed a strange exhibit to put on the wall! (Ok, not so if you are a doctor :-))

hah good...i also need some film holders...i only have 2 now.

These holders seems to be reasonable at USD10 a piece:

<http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/pho/2589396928.html>

Some really good deals pop up on the Craigslist pretty often!

Just communicated with some Dutch LF shooters in Eindhoven area.
They use a square container which is made to process single sheet 4"x5" neg.

I will see how it is done where there. Most like a DIY device.

This thread is becoming more addictive

Square tank...

There are 2 types that came into my mind, the HP tank designed type (not the PC company HP) or the dip tank with frames (Seen before, but don't know what it is call). Both type soaks the film in chemical. HP tank design uses "gear teeth" on the top and bottom or left and right of the tank and you slot the films inside. I have worry of the film sticking in the tanks. The frame type will hold the film in the frame and slide the frame individually into the tank. There are 2*2 and bigger frame allowing loading of multiple films in a frame. I've seem a 20 slot 2*2 frame holder before in the past allowing developing of 80 sheets at 1 shot. (Prefer to work in darkroom for such type)

Ok, they are called film hanger. (http://www.tpub.com/content/photography/14209/css/14209_261.htm) Very useful if you have a lot of films to develop and a darkroom. Amount of chemical spent if counting by per sheet is petty low. If I am not wrong, the one I saw in the past selling is 1.2L for 80 sheets. (Thats 15ml per sheet :o)

Ahh memories... spending 15mins or more in the film developing room using this method at my photography school. Our tanks were for about 6 sheets each and we had 2 if I remember correctly.

Which 1? The HP type or the hanger? I have never seen the hanger in action thought I see a few selling in the largeformatphotography forum before, but you can store 1 year of same B&W film in the freezer before developing all at 1 shot.:bsmilie:

Haiz, today just phone Master Billy before reading this. Largeformatphotography there got people selling a lot of poison including a fujinon SWD 75mm F5.6 for $375USD not including shipment. Aero Ektar 7 inch f2.5 lens going for $350USD ONO, photos here (http://photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=1015512). For those who like portrait and love to have a rodenstock Imagon can try this instead (Fuji Soft Focus 250mm F5.6 in a copal 3 shutter mint minus with red and yellow diffusion disks). The set is going for $425USD not including shipment. A Wisner Tech Field 4x5 with a bit wear but in good using condition going for $600USD not including shipment! I am warning those who register in the forum to wait for a month before visiting the poison B&S there needs tons of discipline!

Haha I can view it in one more week, still saving money for a complete kit to save on paying for several shipments. Losing my speed graphic also got me started to look at other cameras

i got it from the evil bay at US$520 ( including shipping & the recessed lens board that fits perfectly to my camera with a cable release ).
The coating on the lens is really good, and of course, the camera works as it should.

Well, I should say that, as long as the price is not too far off.... you can afford it... why not.

This place is going to be favoured by Ebay sellers too !! :)
