Got to say this before I leave Singapore for a tour, I'm pretty impressed by MS Color (Ang Mo Kio)'s customer service.

I bought my A70 during the first week it is released in Singapore in April and after the 1st few days, I realised that there's a dead pixel in the LCD of the A70. Also some dust appeared on the inside of the LCD glass after a week or two.

I have exams in NTU for the month of April and early May and I stay in hostel practically for that entire exam period, unable to go down to Ang Mo Kio again for the change (travelling time will take around 4 hrs to and fro), I did not go down to MSColor for exchange or called them up.

A month later after my exams, I went down to MS Color for help, explaining my situation. The staff there are very friendly and readily tried to help me. This is real customer service because they have already got my money for the a70 and could have easily turn me away saying it has already been a month, too late for them to do anything. But they didn't. :)

They asked me to try calling canon direct whether canon can do anything to help, but the canon enginer after consulting with his manager said that dead pixels as long as it is less than 0.01% is within specs. That means upto 0.01% x 78000(A70 LCD) = 7~8 deadpixels on your brand new LCD is acceptable! ;(

Anyway, I went back to MS Color and they agreed to help as a dealer by sending my a70 in to canon for a underwriting, but after 2 weeks canon has not got back to them regarding the camera. I told the staffs that I'm going on a trip today and I need my camera on the trip. The boss (Mr Low I think) decided to take one of their own new stock to replace mine. Now that's customer centric service and I'm happy with my new flawless a70 :D

A big thanks to all the friendly staffs there for their help, eps Mr Low, Florence and a young man (didn't ask for his name).

BTW, I'm not working for MS Color or anything, it's just one satisfied customer wanting to show his appreciation for good service rendered. :D

     - for MS Color.

I would rate them with the best customer service I've come across so far also. ;)

Mr Low is a nice person too...got all my cams there too....unlike some shops where the sales people are quite stuck up....and only friendly to old customers.....

I bought my s602 from MS Colour as well. I must say that their service is excellent.

Yep, their customer service is good, that's why I go back to them, I bought most of my stuff there, including EOS 10D...

almost buy things exclusively from them. even if things are not in stock, they're willing to specially order too.

Thanks for the recommendation. Good service must be rewarded -do patronise such stores!

If I'm not wrong, Florence is the female boss. :D

Bought my CP 4500 there too.

I have to say, great service, friendly, good prices.

I got e-quote from both MS Color and CP.

I went to both shops. CP salesman try to quote me quite a sum higher than their e-quote.

MS color only rounded a few dollars up from there e-quote after GST, I think for convenience reasons. And they gladly sell me at the e-quote price!

:)

I bought all my cameras, lenses and everything pertaining to photograhic equipment from MS Color since 1988. Usually I just buy what they quote me because I know I get the right stuff for the right price. Up till last week I just bought a sony F717 from them.

Thumbs up for Mr & Mrs Loh, Jackson and not forgetting Willie.

what is the url to ms colour? I would like to get e-quote from them.

I think whoever and whenever one of us receives such wonderful customer services can seriously consider writing to the shop a letter and to the press so that we will show the rest of the shops that we customers appreciate good customer support and service. Let MS colour have more customers and let the other shops wake up their idea.

Keep up the good work of praising those who deserve to be praised. :)

I agree, Willie =

i bought a cheap Circular Polariser from them a couple of weeks back and found out it's chipped at the side. came back to them with it showing them the chip. Mr Low and a lady (Florence i guess) replaced it immediately with no sarcastic remarks or long face from them.

yes, really good cust service they give. :)
hope these compliments reached them to show them our appreciation.

Got my A70 changed there too with practically no questions asked.

Bought a A70 from them and found that there were small (really small) black dots inside the viewer. Tried cleaning it with a len cloth but still couldn't remove it. Being a newbie and dunno if it can be cleaned or it's permanent markings, I went down and explained the situaution to a gentleman down there.
Got it exchanged on the spot although he couldn't see the dots himself.

Good and friendly service I would say, unlike some shops who would give me a stuck-up face. Maybe those shops upon seeing a young chap like me thought I was asking for fun only.

Cheers. :)

hmmm....nt bad indeed, except look carefully when buying cos they sells old stuffs at new price.....
