[kuantoh] Victoria Road Trip 2010

#61 - Just a snapshot of the barren trees around Reed's Lookout. Love the way the branches seem like reaching out for each other.

#62 - The Balconies also known as "Jaws of Death", located just a 1km walk from Reed Lookout. This 2 pieces of rocks protruding out precariously is sort of retreating backwards more with time. It seems shorter now. That shadow is me btw...

#65 - Love the way the sunlight lits up the ranges of Victoria Valley with Lake Bellfield in the centre. Did not have the chance to stay late till sunset as my fiance would be super duper angry by then. LOL...

#66 - 2 shots at 85mm stitched to form this "basin" shot of Lake Bellfield at near sunset.

#59 - A visit to the Grampians is never complete without visiting the MacKenzie Falls. One of the most scenic falls in Grampians, the walk to the base was a steep descend of a few hundred meters but the we are welcomed by the resounding falls crashing down. The rock sort of resemble a dog's head in the midst of the waters.

I was in Victoria in mid Oct and went almost the same places as well ;) I took some photos of mackenzie fall as well. But definitely not as good as this! I am impressed with your work! Great and thanks for sharing. Btw did you use any filter for this shot?

Thanks for the comments. I took only 1 shot from this location as I hopped on the rocks to the middle. Then sink my tripod down into the currents and snapped off a 30 seconds shot with ND110. I waited for the wind to die down such that the water spray would not be incoming and faster snapped off. Did encounter some water spray in the last few seconds but lucky not of concern to the final outcome.

#75 - Eureka Skydeck 88 offers the best views of Melbourne and surrounds. Paid a short visit here about sunset time and were fascinated by what we are about to see.

#76 - Sunset from Eureka Skydeck 88 with PWC and the Yarra River leading to the river mouth and sunset. It was one of the best views one can have.
