#3 - The trees were not losing attention with their canopies coming to life upon bathing in sunshine.

#59 - A visit to the Grampians is never complete without visiting the MacKenzie Falls. One of the most scenic falls in Grampians, the walk to the base was a steep descend of a few hundred meters but the we are welcomed by the resounding falls crashing down. The rock sort of resemble a dog's head in the midst of the waters.

Nature at its best
Really beautiful shots all of them. Wish I can shoot like you did
how much did u spend for this trip btw? and how many days?
Excluding my pre-wedding shoot expenses, this trip cost for 2 pax over 12 days was about $5.6k.
Just sharing some of the cost breakdown forecast prior to the trip which turned out to be close to our actual expenses:
Air ticket: $1504.60 (Emirates Air x 2)
Accomodation: $1607.30 (11 nights, mainly cottages, self contained apartments)
Hertz Car Rental + Petrol: $970 (11 days | 1400km)
Food & Wine: $700
Scenic Fees, Shopping, Others: $800
We splurged on wine and food mostly were home cooked (coz I admit I quite good cook :embrassbut there are times we dine out. I still remember we had a breakfast for 40 bucks at Port Campbell. Haha...
Awesome series you amassed from your trip KT
Enjoy every single shot, especially the Great Ocean Road series.
Was there back in 2002, but knew nuts about photography back then :bsmilie: Looking through your wonderful series certainly brought back plenty of memories. Melbourne is some place that me and my wife would like to visit again sometime soon.
Thanks again for sharing KT!![]()
wow... your spending is much cheaper then mine... i went with my parents... cost me about almost how much you spent for 12 days!
Air Tix by SQ for 3 = $2.7+k
Accomodation for 5 nights = $1.3k (service apartment at Docklands)
Land tours for 3 days = $1-1.1k plus
Food/Expenses for 5 days = $1.2k plus

very nice waterfall.
did you do a sloppy job of exposure blending for this one, that rock and those trees on the right are looking very patchy to me. :dunno: the trees could be attributed to vignetting i suppose (though i don't see it much anywhere else, perhaps due to cropping).
I suppose patchy refers some dark areas here and there? My bad for the trees on the top right. I pulled back the exposure a bit due to vignetting. No crop was done to the pic. As for the rock, the shadow is due to the light falling on the tree behind me and i thought it gave the "eyes" and "ears" and a mysterious feel to the dog head. lol...
Great series of photos  You must have really enjoyed yourself
Especially loved the Great Ocean Road ones. Looks like you got really great weather while you were there too! (It was overcast while I was there :/)
