Hi Sulhan,

50mm f1.4 - 55mm Threads = Circular
50mm f1.4 - 49mm Threads = non-Circular

Is above statement correct?
are there 2 versions?

Hi Drudkh,

I guess so...

50mm f1.4 - 55mm thread = the one that draws a crowd in John3:16 & AlanPhoto
50mm f1.4 - 49mm thread = old designed lense

Someone (expert) out there, correct me if i'm wrong...

this kind of shoot usually will do pre-focusing and set to manual focus, small aperture.

Yup...the image was prefocus by planning where to drop the strawberry.....
Of course the camera is on the tripod.

Hahaha.....

You guys ....

Okay......you wanna know what?......the photo color is straight from the cam.
I will upload to my server and you guys can download. I will upload one of them.

http://www.lazattefusion.com/download/pict0115.jpg right click and save as....to your location. Or click on it to open in a new window.

BTW....my camera DigitalFx settings (to share):

-Contrast : +1
-Saturation : +1
-Sharpness : +1
-Hue : -2

Close 1 eye when viewing the photo and you can see that the extreme right strawberry seems 3D and fell like coming out of screen....

Rgds,
sulhan

The colours look a little too saturated on my screen... Could it be the white balance setting? Flash also a little bit harsh, maybe can bouce off the wall/umbrella or something? Anyway I like the concept you have, though I have not attempted any of this before...

Got mine at AP@funan for $315 inc GST -- cash . John 3:16 should have 2 more but need
to be able to negotiate.

No wonder cannot get color like these.. I go the opposite way ;p

The original settings that the 7D comes with gives very neutral and realistic colours.... but if u are the Fuji Velvia kind of person, then sulhan's settings will give u that... I prefer a more natural colour although to the untrained eye, greater saturation is more 'realistic'. But I think for sulhan he needs the saturation cos he's doing a product shoot.:bsmilie:

i tried -2 hue, didn't work for me. colours went quite desaturated, now i leave it at 0, the rest +1.
