if that's the case, I will look for him to make future minolta purchases.

here comes the good news...2 more 50mm f1.4 is out...at John 3:16...

Hiee Pals...

I have tested the lens with different tyoes of subjects.......glad to say that there aren't any BF issue. Focusing has been spot on even in low light.....

For the price....this lens is a steal....and would recommend those who may need that extra half a stop....

Weight of the lens is balanced....front element does not rotate - just like the 50mm f1.7.

hmm i think i go work for the KM flash department better... hehehehe...

I just got the minolta 50mm f1.4! It really is a steal at that price, I could not resist. Was considering the f1.7, but fortunately waited and got the slightly more expensive 50mm F1.4 for what I feel is a better deal...

find a magazine or newspaper and do a 45 degrees angle tilt test shot. mount on a tripod with flash or without, up to you.

A simple one. My target is UHU, check the marking on the rule to see the focuing. Be careful with the target subject, the AF sensor may pick up something else than intended and you thought having AF problem.
