I have tested the lens with different tyoes of subjects.......glad to say that there aren't any BF issue. Focusing has been spot on even in low light.....
For the price....this lens is a steal....and would recommend those who may need that extra half a stop....
Weight of the lens is balanced....front element does not rotate - just like the 50mm f1.7.
