I think what the lady reply means everything is in order, the size is right, the weight is also right, thats why their staff serve it. What is not right is that KFC have DOWN SIZE their chicken !!! The size of the chicken that you receive is indeed the correct size and weight to the milligram :sticktong

Good to see this dead chicken rise from the dead :sweatsm: Posting are coming in hot and fast again. :flame:

All those Chicken make me hungry now.......Eat chicken rice better

maybe the chicken shrinked, less meat, but bigger boned? Heavy boned?
Big hard heavier boned chicken, tough chicken for the brave new world. :bsmilie:

If you compare KFC serving portion back then in 1995 to present, you will definately see the vast difference. It is 1 serving portion vs 2 if direct comparison. It is about year 2000 that I reduce my frequency of eating at KFC (unless no choice situation) because of the smaller and smaller size serving portions. There was one visit that I actually ordered 2 servings of 3 piece meal for myself and yet not enough to fill my stomach - not that I was a big eater then, it was the size of the chicken pieces served; it was only slightly larger than a chicken nugget.

next time we can expect singaporeans to eat by the buckets... til we kick the bucket...

Hi, 8 piece meal bucket, original thanks!
Err, family meal?
No, just enuff for myself...
...
btw, this bucket look like the popcorn chicken packet i see 10 years ago...

moral of the story...

Darwin's Evolution Theory, some things grow, some things shrink... man grow taller, chicken grow smaller...

maybe 10 years down the road...the size of chicken parts might juz be nugget size, and they would claim boneless! :bsmilie:

then nuggets take new form... chicken flavoured chips... :bsmilie:

Malaysia KFC all along is bigger in size. Cannot compare lah. Their MaryBrown fried chicken at citisquare is just as good.

If you guys like big portion food, why dont try Carl's Junior or Botak Jones? Eat till shiok shiok...;p

they probably talking bout size according to price. But price seems to be going up as well, sizing down....oh well. Time for alternative!!! :bsmilie:

mm..i find it uniquely singapore, writing letter and complain to KFC for chicken too small.. guess it is a rich country problem.

yah...normally...i would ask for the parts with more meat....sometimes they do give me 2 drumsticks or 2 chicken wings....its not even filling when it's oredi so small. If it's 3 piece, i usually dun mind 1 drumstick or wing. At least i have not encountered (yet) any staff/manager who refuse my request. Nowadays they quite accomodating, even allow changes of the side item to some other sides.

I balk at their pricing strategy right now... now only six plus, usual 8plus? I thought usual was 6 plus? :bsmilie:

so far...of the outlets in singapore....i find one outlet much satisfactory. Last i had was last week, chicken was rather tasty, not overfried, not re-fried, but just nice, the meat was juicy, just like the ones in JB.

As long as the chicken doesn't look like frozen for too long, or those fried without thawing properly. (fried chicken experts should know, meat is tough, other signs, etc). It should be tasty. :sweatsm:

everyone dont worry ok? we will wait for the genetically modified one..wait until all the bird flu stricken chickens are killed, they willstart breeding GM chickens, u can order the size u wan..G cup also can..

perhaps 10 years back we have always been eating the extra injected hormones and nothing much..haha

Which outlet? I am a KFC lover........

Had 2 terrible experiences recently (yeah, dumba** like me don't learn). One from the White Sands outlet. Another is home delivery. I think I need to change my nick. It could be because of my nick that I had my had encounter. My nick is shinken. And the chicken had definitely 'shrinken'. So if I buy KFC ever again in SG, I will come in here and change my nick to 'shrinken'. Those abomination and sorry excuse for food are tiny, dry, overly fried, and they just had one singular taste - salty. No flavour or whatsover. Just salty.

Yes, I emailed to complain too. They gave me the standard reply that has been posted.

Don't they have laws against selling underage chickens?

oh hyah....i forgot to mention the outlet...lol

the takashimaya or ngee ann city outlet. Most of the time i go there, usually packed not enough seats. And its not becoz its meal time....next door neighbour has alot of empty seats...i was actually tempted to buy and hop over to the empty seats far back, but i dun wanna be caught by the golden arches staff. lol

do ask them to mix variety if u ordering more than 2 pieces...last i had was 3 piece, 2 orignal recipe, 1 crispy. Their original is rather juicy.

If anybody going there....show some pix. I wonder how consistent their fried chicken quality is? hehe :sweatsm:
