As for now, there is no single body available for sale. Have to buy w/ the kit set

Optically the DAL is the same as the DA 18-55 II, but it got a plastic mount, and it doesn't have distance scale on the focusing ring, doesn't have QuickShift feature, and it doesn't come with a lens hood (available at an additional cost). Personally I never really used QuickShift on the kit lens, and I don't mind w/o distance scale. But I don't mind r having a lens hood for such a small lens.

Let's see who gets the K-x the first?

Maybe me, K-x white and red is already available here in the Philippines.

edit: but naah! cannot bear two cameras anymore. The pain in purchasing the K-7 is still upon me.

Well, you forgot to add shipping cost (within Canada), and GST (5%), that'd make the final price over $900SGD, and you have to think of a way to get it over here in SG, plus the warranty issue ...

I think it'd be a good deal if our price for Kx w/ kit set is lower than 1k SGD

i dont think they give 55-200 as kit lens.
whats more, TS stated that the whole kit is less than a 1000.

most probadly standard 18-55 kit lens will be given.

Replied back by Patrick to check with CP.

Before I can call them, CP called me instead.

Wow, response was very quick! from the time I sent out email to the time CP called; ...all this action took less than 20minutes.... very dramatic! but i already love the service very much.

Anyway, CP is waiting for stocks from distributor and will inform me when stock arrive.

I reckon should be within days now...;p
