This is a beauty!
Hopefully we'd have some handson review soon
Anyone wants to buy my K5?
Its the camera I wish I had. Seems smaller, likely lighter, and the blue is really cool!

Would it be another white or should I get the blue now;p
Black seems a bit too normal

You're not going to wait to see if the sensor has the same DR, and high ISO performance?
I think we already know the VF is the same, the WR is the same... Dual wheels also.. So likely control and layout are similar?
The usual difference between entry level and mid-level Pentax DSLRs besides the 4 points mentioned above are (that I can think of offhand):
- AF performance (this, I can live without)
- Higher maximum frame rate (this, I can live without)
- Better battery life (this, I would have to see how big the difference is)
- Shake reduction performance (this, I can live without)
- DR performance - is this due to 14 bit versus 12 bit? (this, I would want to keep)
- High ISO performance (best if can retain K5 performance, but I can live without it as long as the detail and DR performance on base ISO is similar)
- Lower ISO possible (native ISO tends to be ISO200 for entry level)
- Cannot use wired remote (this, I can live without)
All the better to flaunt WR. XD

My list of concerns and don't care is quite similar to yours, though I will welcome as good if not better af.
DR is high on my wants list.
ISO 80 will be a loss (I think it only goes to 100)
AF is touted as improved, based on the marketing flufff for this camera (mentioned on PF).
I don't think its going to be worse than K01 for IQ (which is as good as the K5)
Doubt anyone wants my K5 anyway
I'm thinking of getting one to replace my G3
Image Engine should be the same one as used in K01, so we'd expect better video quality (compare w K5). AF module will be a new improved one I think, this is pending our comparison test. ISO will start from 100 I guess, same as K5, but K5 can extend its ISO to 80. Bettery will be the same as Kr's, which is a big plus to a lot guys, although personally I'd rather it uses K5 battery.
We'll find out all these in a day or two I guess? ;p
