Joining the 'L' Family

Prime lenses are faster, larger max aperture and sharper. I used to do all my model shoots with my zooms and ever since i dedicated my prime lens for these, i've not looked back.

yup~~ primes are fantastic~~ superb quality in the images with skills combined~~

70-200mm F2.8 is best lens.... only con too heavy. I have 70-200m /f4L feeling quite comfortable in most case. not low light env.

Best lens is up to the individual. If in general, Canon's best and most expensive lens is the 1200mm f/5.6L. For my best is my 50mm.

I use 35mm f/1.4L for candid and landscapes on my 5D. I guess for you, 50mm f/1.2L will be like a portrait lens?

Yes and it's my only portrait lens cos i specialise in portraiture so getting this lens is a hige plus for me.
