Thank you richie and fable! Your photos are amazing too!

Wanted to capture the blue hour at this location too so waited a while for it. Really miss Clementi a lot as it was used to be the usual hanging out place with my friends.

Good location! Like the blue hour. Hope to see the retakes when your clamp is in action.

Welcome back after a long hiatus! :) Nice POV! But looks like your camera's plagued by dust spots again. :bsmilie:

Thanks Jellies for dropping by! Yup still considering if I should get one due to limited budget :)

Thanks school was so busy past few weeks :( Yeah can see those dust spots now. Really need to get lens cleaned (I think it's lens not camera as other lens do not have this problem) or will try to remove the dust spots after PP.

Had some perspective issue when doing this. May redo again when I by-pass this area.

The dust spots are pretty serious in all images. I suggest at least you use 'clone' tools to get rid of it since all the images has been post-process.

Or better send in to service center for cleaning job.

Please take note that your uploaded images being view by not only in Singapore community but worldwide. Thus, it is good to put in effort in own work to showcase it to others.

Cheers, Thomas

WRT #46 & #47, the keystoning should've been corrected either in-camera or in post processing. Just my 2 cents :)
On a side note, for the Clementi HDB it would have been impossible to use a clamp :)

Cheers!

Thank you Thomas for your advice. I will remove those dust spots and re-upload them soon.

I see. And yup it's quite thick I think only can use a mini tripod next time!

Like what "SoulFLY" had said... you never know who will be viewing your images.. One very good photo a week is actually good enough and you will be surprise how your viewers will react. I'm sure you have made comments on others and should practice comments or self critiques upon yourself before presenting to the viewers.

Good luck..:)

Yup thanks for your advice as well. It's the June Holidays and I guess I'll start shooting to improve myself again.

Beautiful sunset today. Need to learn how to blend in the smooth water with the moving boats so have yet to post it here. The coastal guards approach me and fortunately, I didn't take any pictures of them as mardellion encountered issues with them before and didn't want to waste my efforts. However, they told me that the jetty is actually private property and I wasn't supposed to be there but they allowed me to stay there for a while. Not sure if anyone got this before?

Photographing and blending boats are really difficult, especially when the boats constantly move and change position after just a few seconds. Only a few usable pictures afterwards. Decided to blend in the moving part of the boat as well to show the movements. Not sure if the effect ruins or creates the picture.

Initially wanted to go to a better location for sunset but was caught up with something and had to rush to somewhere nearby instead. Sunset was exceptionally beautiful today, hope it will continue for the next few days/weeks.
