Hi m33rkat,
Yes, after the group left, I stayed back because I still havn't got an insect shot that I am satisfied. I shot some flowers as I like flowers and they don't move like insects so the task is not so great, although to get really good exposure and color of flowers is also no picnic.
You're one of the two guys in the pond enclosure?? Perhaps you got very good dragonfly shots?
LEW
Thanks for the comment.

Till now can't find what is the root cause..:dunno:

Jesmen,
I am glad you like flowers. Me too. They are very colourful. I have just started collecting flowers around my neighbourhood. We can share our take. Below are just some that I have put up recently:

thanks for reply. i am also on 7d and sp90 but never get so closed up and sharp. Do you use speedlite such as 580ex as your additional light source? If so, is it bounce card or something else?
I supposed the key is the raynox 250 to get closer? wont it reduce the sharpness in theory?
how much is this raynox 250 and where can i buy this?
Really enjoyed yr series.
Kelvin, Great shot! Really amazed at how u manage to get that when the wind is quite strong.
MingLink, I really like this it is simple but beautiful.
Very colorful flowers.
You are right LEW -- need more exercise. I'm 57 years young and the backache was from bending down and moving forward and back to focus. When your back ache, the focus also suffersI'm looking to see if using a tripod helps. In places like Botanic Gardens thyere are so many insects, that I think I can set myself up at a spot and see if the insects come.
Do you shoot in manual exposure or use the macro program mode?

Really don't have the courage to post mine... I am afraid the my pictures will cause permanent serious eye damages to the viewers....:embrass:
Bro Jacobs,
I like #10. But I see that u still have not corrected the yellow cast in ur image? Did u shoot in JPEG or Raw?
