This site (http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/content_page.asp?cid=7-8742-9084) indicates that D300 does not replace the D200. Not sure if it is true.

i really agree with that therefore with lenses with built in VRll it would therefore tempt more consumers to buy their lenses

just for your info, you can actually get a good quality second hand D200 at 105000 yen in japan, that's like S$1400 :sweat:
