err...some questions.
1. does the white body come with white 14-42 kit lens? or also black lens like the silver body?
Currently lenses are : pancake in silver, zooms in black. For both colored bodies.
2. the filter size of 40.5 seems uncommon. is there any shops that sells mc protector or uv filter for this size? will it impedde the lens when the lens cap is put on as i read the kit lens is kinda 'collapsible'?
(1) smaller filter sizes means cheaper filters for high end brands like b+w. (2) They are available. Thread sizes are common for consumer video cameras. (3) It works well and does not get in the way. All camera designers always take this into consideration in their design, so there is nothing to worry about. The usual problem instead is vignetting but not in the case of the E-P1 lenses. (so far). Unless you start stacking filters (ie, C-PL on top of UV filters, with ND filters in between).
Hope this answers your question.
