Does anyone knows how to disable the LCD screen when using the OVF? I already RTFM but can't anything on it. Previously on e-xxx bodies, pressing Info button will cycle the screen to disable but not on E-P1.

I read quite long ago on DPR that it cannot be turned off. Let's nope it's not true...

on page 25 of the manual - enable menu by pressing the menu screen and going to the 4th tab.

on page 102 (or around there) of the menu - assign the LCD backlight to your fn button.

voila

Just got my Pancake kit from H/N Parkway. They have ONE MORE set of the 14-42mm kit.
Other dealers still got a lot of the single lens kits... well at least my favorite dealer has anyway... and at very good prices too. ;)

So what kind of filter do you guys get for the pancake? Or do you not use any at all? MS told me that they do not have b+w for that size.

Thank you so much!!! :)

Paris slik store at holland v has a few units of zoom and prime lenses at 5 pm today. Hurry up before stock lasts

Dual lens kit is out of stock at M S Color and Cathay unless you made a reservation :(

Cathay has the 14-42 in stock.

Alan Photo has the dual lens kit but only in white.

Next shipment to M S will be in about two weeks... the other stores have no ETA.

Audio House has 1 dual lens kit left... which I can't purchase because they don't take Amex... argh.

Did anyone manage to get a dual lens kit in black?

I have gotten mine from MSCOLOR, silver and black color with 14-42 kit lens plus the flash.
Now charging the battery later then will play with it;)

Some video camcorders have lenses that have 37mm threads. Sony, for example, sells 37mm filters (polarising, UV and ND) for their camcorders as well as their P-series Cybershot digicams with 37mm threads. You can get these quite easily at Sony stores. ;)

when I collected my twin lens kit from them this evening, they said that their single lens kits are still available.

 Before using already wrong purchase !
But quite good price and got free screen protector some more.. but no 8G SD card?

No case is included with purchase right? I vaguely remember seeing a leather case ala LX3's. If there's one thing I will miss about the LX3 it will be the casing, it's quite a smart design.

Can't wait to go to HN to try out the Pen!

By the way, is the Ex-25 extension tubes compatible with the camera? I'm still coming to terms with the m4/3 & 4/3 thing; if you will need an adapter to use a 4/3 lens on a m4/3 cam, do I actually need an adapter to use the extension tube? :dunno: Sounds silly?
