I just reserved my twin lens kit from antoher retailer for only $1475, inclusive of GST.

who did u order from:dunno:

Just placed order with MScolor for a 14-42 lens.
Wanted to get a dual lens but its out of stock, just wondering how much is a pancake lens?

Get the Nokton 50mm f/1.5 loh... about 1/3 the cost of the f/1.1.
Good value for money. ;)
I have a silver colored one... would go well with the E-P1 :)

Wow, so...it's $500++? I want! :D But maybe the 35mm instead. I went to Chiif's site...do I need to email him to get prices of the lens?

Should not come to this thread anymore, it's filling my brain with too much poison

Btw, the 12mm/f5.6 Ultra Wide-Heliar looks interesting and affordable, if able to use it with a digital 35mm full-frame body without crop factor...

My twin lens kit should be cheaper as my dealer in only charging me $20 above his dealer's price and his dealer's price is just below $1.4k. ;)
Will be collecting my white set tomorrow. :D
Seems that there are no black lenses... all coming in this shipment are silver ones. Also, the twin lens kits are extremely limited in supply compared to the single lens kits.

Here's the price from ms color

Camera with dual lenses $1550 cash/net with 8GB and 1 free battery.
Camera with 17mm is $1390 cash/net with 8GB and 1 free battery
Camera with 14-42 is $1240 cash/net with 8GB and 1 free battery

Can purchase flash at $258 cash/net

For the privilege of paying by VISA : add 2% more
The free battery is a special promotion for E-Club members only and have to be redeemed at Olympus Studio at Valley Point. Non-members can join on the spot at Olympus Studio to qualify for the free battery. I suppose it's still worth paying the $40 to join since the battery is supposed to cost $90.

Did u include the GST?
The dealer was looking at his order form when I enquired if the lens is available. He showed me his order form, with prices and quantities. Actually there's not many to go around... and his margin is so low....

able to pm me in private where u got ur?
can sense some people is not too happy abt it:p

erm, pardon me for asking this.. kinda unfamiliar with Olympus in this sense..
whats the advantage of the E-Club ?

My dealer actually let me read his order form. On it was printed the nos. of each item and the dealer's prices and the recommended retail prices (inclusive of GST). If the dealer's price is not inclusive of GST, I don't see how you could be able to get your twin lens kit at $1,475 unless you are not paying the full GST. Anyway, I would know tomorrow when I collect mine.

hey, i think we should stop this price thing.
sometime shops quote lower prices for regular customers, as far as i know.
just get a set and enjoy it.

Can't wait to pick up the cam tomorrow.
Hope there's sufficient juice in the battery for me to shot around. It is a torture to buy the set only to spend several hours charging the battery as the evening fades away into the night!

Hi Weekh, I always remember your posts with lovely adapted MF lenses on your Canons, do take lots with your new EP-1 to share over the wkend ;)! Enjoy your new cam!

Oh btw, do let us know how the MF is like on the EP-1, especially in indoors or lower light situations.

I'm doing a bit more research online on the video mode before I decide to buy.

Called MS Color @ 5pm today - they said stocks not here yet.

Hi all... just wondering... will it be sold "body only"... if got... it will be great... i can use my m mount lens with this by getting adaptor.... ;)

Thank you.

Yup I was looking at that lens too. It's so tempting to get all primes and ditch the kit lens, since some of them are quite affordable.
