Actually I wouldn't say the EP-1 'beats' them both. The G10 and DP1 are both good cameras for their areas of strength - G10 (nice all in one compact package, nice ergonomics) DP1 (good lens, very nice foveon sensor if used to its strengths)
If I was going pure IQ now, for me I'd get the DP2. However, since I am a rangefinder user with some lenses that I like to use, the EP-1 represents to me finally an affordable 'RF' kit since I am not going to splurge $$$ on a M8For that alone, I'm inclined to invest in the m4/3 format.
Its great for the hobby though that there are so many options now![]()
Just curious.... we know that m4/3 lenses can't be used on the 4/3 bodies. What about the FL-14 flash? Does anybody know if it will work with the 4/3bodies? I would think that it is possible....
any any any updates from those who went for the hands on session??
sure it can work, but why you want to used it when "most" of the 4/3 bodies has the same flash built in ?
It cost me ~US$96 including shipping, bought from cam.plus (eBAY). Quality wise not the best but it fits nicely and can focus to infinity which matters most.Hey Azul, nice pic of your nikkor heheHow much does the F-m4/3 adapter cost and is it a good fit to both lens and body?
i can answer the question of "How can one not buy?"!!
The answer is very simple, cause some people like,me,still studying, don't have the $$$ to go and buy,not soon anyway
Even though you already have 3 four-thirds bodies? :bsmilie:
I wonder how you will like this one in your hands. I think I wouldn't be so comfortable with the way it's used. I've used my mum's point-and-shoot but a US$150 camera isn't much compared to something about US$700 with a US$200 adapter and US$1000 lens. I think I'll need a tripod for one of these.
I hope someone can see how the 20mm f/1.7 works with it. Extra low light performance would be great to see.
