At least they publish the advertisements openly and is subjected to laws and rules governing them. They cannot run an ad that says "My milkshake brings all the boys in the yard~" when it is obviously not true.
What about yours?
EDIT: oh wait.. i forgot.. MLM's main point is to sell by word of mouth. so strictly no adverts else there won't be enough comission to feed the upper lines, and by word of mouth, nobody can confirm what is true and what's NOT on the spot.
actually i really wonder how come people can be so partial towards information and data.
If it helps sells a product, it "MUST BE GOOD", if a particular study suggests otherwise, then it "MUST BE BAD" ....
from a daily perspective, there will always be conflicting reports and research results, ranging from different people, different genes, different susceptibility to different labs, different standards, different controls USED in the study.
I notice that most of MLM for "HEALTHY" Stuff tends to be overtly focus on very "loose knowledge" which cannot be substantiated further when probed....eg...they can give u a whole writeup about what green wheat or whatnot does to the body, but they also forgot, to process and preserve the "greenwheat", those are already interfering with the delicate natural chemicals/nutrients which could "POTENTIALLY" be good for the body and instead is "potentially" bad in the long term....
its really about making use of wispy amounts of knowledge, and trying to "SOUND" so professional/knowledgeable and persuasion that gets people fooled into believing that a product is godsend.
However, i must say that some products (definitely not "HEALTH related"....they can't con me on that) are really quite good.....eg....RAINBOW vacuum cleaner
