teerex said:Met up with one bunch of nice guys. Many thanks to IRMan, spending so much time talking to us and showing us the exhibits.
Panda - I think Pablo won't be able to get a plane ticket to join us for the outing next week. He should be shooting birdies on his Birdie Island :bsmilie:
Next week outing will be on Saturday/Sunday? anyone who miss today outing will be welcome to join in as well. Kegler? Tomcat? Pablo?
My suggestion will be

That's what I thought, that glow seems that it could only be achieved on film.Dennis said:Thanks for the link.
First one has the signature glow of IR film, so you may be right that it is IR film. Seems like it is difficult to achive it using digital..
Post processing is capable of giving different effects for IR. Like what tomcat showed in one of his post where he could get green and red for the trees. Have to have guru like him to share his experiences in post processing.Dennis said:Second one I am caught with the green of the greenery. Must have been post processed with different colour mixing. I kind of like the green like that though.
Seems like there are many colour possibilities with IR photography. Which should make it interesting.
Pablo said:H there teerex,
This guy has certainaly used an interesting array of cameras.
Makes me feel prety foolish. :embrass: Ah well, no need to stop when I'm having fun :bsmilie:
Dennis said:Aiyah, who cares what camera you have !!.
Important is you are happy with it.
BTW must learn some post processing for IR, I for one would not be able to get trees green or red, tried but fail.

Pablo said:A question, may be derr but I simply don't know.
I ask this as you mentioned about some photo's that it may have had the IR glow due to using IR film.
What would be the outcome if you used an IR filter on a film camera with standard film (not IR film). :dunno:
Thanks guys![]()
