Hi Votrex,

Saw you one of the pics! Really dark skies in the background too . . . Too bad weather was bad over the whole weekend. My shoot on Saturday was washed out too . . . not much MACRO to shoot as it was raining quite a bit and I was not sure how 'weather-proof' my 8400 is. Any recommendations or suggestions to 'weather-proof' my 8400???

I will join you in your IR Fanatic Tour next time, first, WE NEED GOOD WEATHER OVER THE WEEKENDS!!!

Cheers . . .

Patrick X ;)

why don't you upload all, I should be able to identify, but assuming you CANNOT tell the difference, that proves that 2xedmundoptics is good enough , and still cheaper than cokin P or hoya for that kind of size. so must MO to divide up the shipping..

who would be interested in this mo?

* FILTER OPTCAST IR 3" DIA 3" Dia. NT43-950 $10.90
• FILTER OPTCAST IR 4" X 5" 4" x 5" NT43-954 $13.60

btw; is the price SGD or USD?

I have written to the Singapore Office, here is the email :

As a sales and support office, we do not keep any stock at our side.
We
will bring in the parts for you once we received your order. You can
provide us your billing and shipping address so that we can prepare an
official quote for you.

The price is as follow:

Item 43950 S$22.88
Item 43954 S$28.38

The parts will be ready for collection next Monday if you placed the
order by today.

Wishing you a wonderful new year 2005!

WOW, that's much better, use email rather than the web application, the web application gives these prices.

FILTER OPTCAST IR 3" DIA 3" Dia. NT43-950 USD$10.90 SGD23.98 + SGD 1.2 Tax = SGD$25.18
FILTER OPTCAST IR 4" X 5" 4" x 5" NT43-954 USD$13.60 SGD29.92 + SGD 1.5 tax = SGD$31.42

---

anyway, based on the eawtan's quote, S$28.38 x 2 = 56.76 for a 2 stacked piece that is much larger than Cokin P007 anyway.. (so you can possibly do IR on sigma 50-500 86mm filter size too.)

----
btw: anyone can try on exposed developed LF film?

---

Interest gathering for MO for edmund optics (excluding tax + shipping)

1) loupgarou for 43954 x 2 , S$28.38 x 2 = S$56.76
....

If you're ordering, please let me know, as I am interested in the filters too.

....

I've tried some Provia 4x5, response is good, but didn't manage to get good pics, most of the shots were fuzzy ...
