Hi Pablo .. I've tried clicking the link .. all I get is an error message "An error has occurred. You do not appear to be the owner of this album. Make sure you are logged in."

Hi JohnQ Loi,

I appologise for the incorrect link.
Was not thinking that the cookie in my computer let me in when I checked it.

I believe either of these 2 should get you there :

If not, let me know. I will try from my computer at work tomorrow.

Sorry to yourself and anyone else that had that problem.

Cheers

Yeh I think you are right, times are bad. I will also have to do part time.
IR filters are expensive.
Pablo let us know if you are here, we are all "qualified tour guide" we know all the places to take IR photos. Price will include buffet lunch and 10 course dinner. :bsmilie:

Hi Dennis,

I will look forward to that, I am actually thinking of holiday there in the next year.

Only 10 course dinner :dunno: that is breakfast :bsmilie: kidding.

Great idea. Qualified tour guides, IR teachers, good food. I can't wait

Hi Pablo,

My try on your above photo from your out of cam file. Please let me know your opinions. Is it too blown?

Close to your colour tone, with a little added sharpness.

I like these 2. Very sharp and nice colours on the palm leaves.

The one with the lady and the pram, what shutter speed was used? You could capture them without any motion blur. Was it very bright then?

The lady with the pram was taken at a shutter speed of 1/28s. It was already after 5.00pm at the time and not very sunny but the direction of the light was very suitable for IR photography, I suppose, casting nice shadows on the ground and in the foliage. It has been reported that the best time of the day to take IR photos is either early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

Merry Christmas to all IR shooters!!!!! :xmas:  :cheergal:

Nice shot, but the trees are a bit too red for my liking. Perhaps you could process it a lttle lighter and see what it looks like.

Free to join us for a IR shoot tomorrow, come join us if your available and share your technique.
