Hi guys, actually, Ihave been thinking of the National Stadium area because the government is going to tear down Stadium that I grew up with, always wanted to take some pictures for keepsake.

What do you guys think? The Botanic Garden, I went last week, alot of constructions, The Swan pond is down. A lot of drainage repairs, also, I feel other than trees, the place seems a little lack of subject, our composition still need a focus, right?

Just thinking out loud.

Notice there's a big circle in the middle of the pic. Guess the 10D is not suitable for infrared?

Very nice shot you have there Virgo, where's this place? I thought all along that you are a model and wedding shooter.

most of these buses come down from the east side or town.

can we make it at 10am instead? :embrass:

Date: 26/12/2004, Sunday.
Time: 9.00am
Venue: Botanic Gardens
Meeting Point: Vistor's Center (Bt.Timah Entrance)

I'll be entering the Gardens from Napier Road end and will be walking all the way to the other entrance. Anyone entering the Gardens from this end also? I can wait for you and then proceed together.

Vortex suggested to change the time to 10.00am. any objections?

Max, National Stadium also good. Perhaps on the next outing, when are they going to pull it down?

Let's firm the outing then:

Sorry teerex, nearly miss your posting.

This shot was taken in Lower Peirce Reservoir. More of my pics here. That place is an extremely good location for IR photography. Once you have a clear blue sky, the rest is yours to play with. Got very thick foliage too, which is ideal for IR.

My interest in photography started with landscape. If you visit to my gallery, you'll see that most of my earlier shots involve in landscape photography. Later, the investment on gears becomes heavy and I need the moola to sustain this hobby. That's why I switched to model/wedding later. However, my interest in landscape photography hasn't change a bit over the years.

Wah nice IR pics you have at your gallery. Next time we can have IR model shoot already :bsmilie:

Hey IR model shoot good leh!

Remember the NIPPLE-scare when that IR videocam came out into the market about a decade ago?

Hahahaha...... Wonder what would the model turn into a smurfette for my Oly 5050... All the IR spots turn bluish...

Definitely not for my models lah. If anyone interested to organise, I'd be glad to join in the fun. :bsmilie:

No problem with IR people photography leh. See my snapshot of a "model". :bsmilie:
