My fav series.. All taken by Tamron 90mm F2.8..;p

Hiee Pals...

Here is on of those shots that i basically used the moire pattern that appears on the viewfinder due to the patterns of the insect eyes to the circular concentric micro grooves of the focus screen....

Its really worked well...

I used the same method for all the dragonfly shots taking the cue form the present of the moire pattern as the eyes in focus....

mogapr6.jpg

Only applicable for fine minute details like bugs eyes....

BTW for Tankm....my camera settings has been :
Contrast : 0
Saturation : +1
Sharpness : +1
Hue : -2

Its been my settings since my 2nd month use of my dynax 7....:bsmilie:
Once in awhile change here and there but this is the usual one i use.

why hue -2?

Thanks....on the Minolta 5D, there is no hue setting. :(

The rest of the settings are the same as what I have been using since day 1.....but I still need to do slight tweaking in PS.

i can't seem to control the lights... seem kinda too strong & harsh, any idea how to reduce the harshness, yet get background & foreground well lit?

This look really great  , I see that's what you mean on using PS on the photo. But I sometime ruin the shot by PSing too much.

Taken by STF..

Heres my first opportunity to test the combo....

bsk1.jpg

bsk2.jpg

bsk3.jpg

Its really easy to focus with this combo...and fast too.All shots were non flash shots and i was surprised that its
better then the Sigma version in thers of its brightness. Well, physically the glass is also larger compared to the
Sigmal one - although both are 1.4x TC's.

Used my car as a hide...hehehehe....

Great Shots Sulhan!!

Just 2 shots taken with 50mm f1.7

f6.7 1.5sec AS on handheld @ ISO 1600.
59861423.jpg

f4.5 1/10sec AS on Handheld @ ISO 1600
59861421.jpg

I am surprise by the image quality at ISO 1600 and AS capability to shoot at low shutter and sharp even at 1.5 sec

Regards,

Hart
