Images from Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1!!

Hahaha.. Paisa.. I was too excited in trying the lens, just anyhow point and shoot but really dam freaking sharp. I noticed the bokeh balls, condom shape kind..
This lens reminds me of my old Nikon 50mm f1.2 lens, very very sharp with a harder harsher look.

not succumbed as such, i was going to get it last sat, but baby-sitting duties... so couldn't make it down. chiif already had one with my name on it!!

The Nokton and the Noctilux are two different lens. They are not the same and will never be. Let's just enjoy each lens for what they are.

price also very different, 1:4!! and that's the non-asph version!! :sweat:

I truly agree! not just nokton & noct. Every lens is different- i enjoy everyone of my lenses Will consider the chrome Nokton if & when it comes but for now, jus enjoy the pics post by you guys:thumbsup:

That one really shows what this lens is capable of. I love the subject background isolation. And the lowlight shots seem to have a lot better "character".

I've just done a light transmission comparison for the Canon 50mm f/1.2 LTM, Leica Noctilux-M and the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.1. Roland has put all the three histogram together one one chart.

The results are here.

The Noctilux and Nokton curves are very similar!!

m8@iso320, both lenses shot wide open

they have been adjusted to same WB temp, the rest of the differences / similarities are from the lenses. there are dead giveaways as to which is which, but they are clearly identified in my flickr photostream.
