Dun need lah. So many models at Banquet. Clothes also so nice. The bride is already a model liao. Help to advertise the clothes some more.

Not every photographer would have somebody to follow. Most of the time alone. As what Azul suggested, not very practical although gd idea.

By the way, Jeanie, u dun sound like a super newbie.

i'm a SUPER SUPER newbie to digital photography.
as for film, i wont say i am lao jiao(old bird) cos i really shoot for fun.and i'm seriously not THAT serious for an amateur.:bsmilie:

To get even lighting, use Lumiquest softbox if the ceiling is too high.

An alternative is to use a white card.

To correct the colour temrperature, use an orange filter (CTO) on your flash to make it tungsten temperature. Set your camera WB to tungsten, then everything would be correct. You can't change the colour temperature of the lighting in the venue but you can change the colour temperature of your flash with filters.

i have never used the gel that comes with the flash.again, what's CTO?:bsmilie:

white card is for what ah?you mean tape it to the flash for bounce?but sb800 already comes with build in card for reflection bounce rite?:dunno:

Wah. I dun even know how to load film u know. That makes me even more newbie.

I had an embaraasing experience during my last wedding shoot. When I was shooting half way, 1 lady came to me and ask me, "Cameraman, Camera man. Can u help me to load film?" My answer very classic, "Sorry, I dun know. Never use film before:embrass: "

I started with Digital years ago. I wonder how many share my shoes sia?

for bounce flash to be effective, ur bounce card needs to be at least 2 times the flash head..u can forget abt the built in bounce card inside the SB800..

oic.so i should go popular and buy a piece of styrofoam 1m x 1m and tape it to the flash.that will be the best bounce;p :bsmilie:

i also have the LSII cloudy but that tends to underexpose.maybe i should shoot with .5 to 1+ flash compen.
also, for a lady to carry the LS hor....
