If managing a camera that has good ISO noise control. No issue. In fact, it is a breeze. What abt cameras with poor ISO control?

Thanks for hightlight the mistakes, but have problem unload the amended images now, will updated it later.Just send you email, btw, the link in your signature where it leads to "Hardcover Album" the photo frames has your email as ...@gamil.com instead of ...@gmail.com. You may want to correct it.

Not every photographer would have somebody to follow. Most of the time alone. As what Azul suggested, not very practical although gd idea.

yes, cloth texture, you won't find the exact disign somewhere else.
Then pp move during the shoot how? 1/15 sec sure see bg but at the same time, a lot of "ghost" may appear at the same time

meit mei, don't make the shoot become so complicated. nobody is gonne wait for you to fiddling around the set up.i've got an idea but i've yet to try.
for low lights, use bounce, then put a slave flash behind the subjects.
so that when you fire, the background behind the subjects will be lit.the power of the flash of course could be varied on the slave itself.
i would prefer high ceilings though.anyway, for background to be more lit, just slow the shutter speed to about 1/30s.
then again you'll have the 'orangy background with flash lit subjects.
Ken rockwell suggested using flash gels to match the colors.

use bulb mode, rear sync flash and black card..when background is expose correctly liao, cover lens wif black card, then get subjects in, close shutter and flash trigger..how abt it??
but never try before..haha.
Sounds like taking fireworks sia. Never thought of using this technique:think: . Theoretically, i dun think it will work cause there will always be pp at the bg unless bg is totally empty, then it may work.

To get even lighting, use Lumiquest softbox if the ceiling is too high.

An alternative is to use a white card.
To correct the colour temrperature, use an orange filter (CTO) on your flash to make it tungsten temperature. Set your camera WB to tungsten, then everything would be correct. You can't change the colour temperature of the lighting in the venue but you can change the colour temperature of your flash with filters.

Try TFCD, model shoot, xiao mei mei, CLS, AWS, tripod, monopod, gel, bounce card, flip-it, LS PJ, Lumiquest, studio light, slave light, shoot raw, shoot Jpg med, high speed, low speed, mix lighting, macro, soft focus, everything goes, all in one dinner. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

must oso setup a studio corner in the restaurant or ballroom..bring in strobes, umbrella, backdrops, etc..confirm won't go wrong...:bsmilie: :bsmilie:
