How to kill Cockroach?

Believe me, it won't kill that roach.
The best method I could think of : use a hammer, knock the head off and use the knife to cut the body ..

i love to kill roaches...but in a very slow way...i enjoy looking at them slowly die... i saw 1 in my kitchen...i flip it upside down... most roaches are like turtles...if flipped upside down they will be stucked...but their chances of turning over is 80%...so had to do it real fast... after they are flipped over...i will pour medication oil...those super strong 1...best example is yoko yoko...then i will c them struggle n wiggle...all insect's body there are breathing holes... so i juz sat there...slowly c them suffocate n die...i tried washing liquid solution...tabasco... chilli oil...super glue...anytink tat is liquid n can kill...etc etc...i am evil...muahahaha!!! :devil:

It's quite amusing reading your incident. Btw, roaches don't die immediately on contact with insecticides. So no need to chase it around the house and leaving oily residue wherever it (and you) go!

But these dirty bugs runs fast and have a strong instinct of finding a hole to hide in... I can't live well knowing it's still somewhere in the house although there're reasons to believe it'll die soon... I need to see it actually dead... what if...

I usually try to find something to hit it. If I can't get hold of any immediate thing, I will grab it with bare hands, exert pressure on the head till the whole head caves in (which kills it instantly) and then throw it away and wash my hands immediately

you gotta give respect to these creatures, man... what i usually do is chase them out of the apartment n hope they don't come back. if all else fails, i do what most men would do ... call their wifes to take care of it i have a phobia of such creatures u see hehe

i hate roaches and whenever i see one and if comes near me, either i scream for help or 2 weeks ago when i got back from my trip, i saw one in my room, right when i closed my room's door and it's amidst my clothes. no one else was home, so i gathered that screaming wont help and i wont be able to sleep unless that bugger is gone. somehow i plucked up enough courage to roll some newspapers that i stacked in my room and smashed it like it's my bloodsworn enemy. i ended up crying and then it looked really dead, not moving. i was about to sweep it when it climbed up my broom!! i screamed and used the broom stick to hit it until the white liquid flowed out and then still kept hitting. it finally died ... i waited like half an hr, didnt dare to move.

i realised the bodies of roaches are really flat so they can hide anywhere, not to mention that they run really, really fast. dont ask me why, i felt like a murderer but I REALLY HATE ROACHES!! :cry:

hmmm ... i hate roaches too !! but i'm also scared of the ... yacks

they like my toilet ... the last time i saw one in my toilet, i turned on my shower, used hot steam water. and washed it out !!! ... sprayed it until it fell into the drain, as it over turned. Hahaha... then i let the water run until it drowned in my toilet drain... and i wached it decomposed in the next few days .... hahahaha .... my gf say i siao haha.... cause she not scared wan, she see roaches like no reaction wan :x

Used to stay in the hall with a pond with some fish in it..
Whenever I see a cockroach, I'll kick it against a wall so it'll be stunned for a while,
then pick it up and throw it into the pond..

It'll struggle for a little but catching the attention of the fish..
And then it's gobbled up in a flash.

I will usually spray insecticide on them. Just 1 well targetted short spurt is all it takes. Quantity does not help. Insecticide is highly toxic. They will die in time. Just be patient. With each breath, they will take in more toxin... until they die. I don't chase it... so I will know where to find it later.

One thing to note.

Cockroaches can survive for about 2 weeks without a head. It dies of hunger by then...
