Nigella's Chocol-oat Cookies!

Salad for lunch today. Drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, a splash of balsamic vinegar and a quick grating of parmesan cheese.

Fast, fresh, simple.

Oh! i haven't tried adding honey before.. On good days when I'm not feeling lazy, I would reduce the balsamic vinegar till it becomes real sweet!

I had an epic baking failure yesterday...

pics of my 'would-be' chocolate meringue pie.. the chocolate flowed out like lava from a volcano after I removed the pie from the tin..

the pics were taken to reflect my mood.. dark and dreary...

i was amazed at how easy it was to cook!

Definitely mouth-wateringly delicious.

I know you're going for a high-key look, but personally I find them slightly overexposed. Toning down the exposure a wee bit will be gentler on the eyes.

i like light.. but not exactly the high-key look...
Post-processing the photos on my laptop makes me nuts a lot of the time! cos' the colours and brightness look so different when seen in photoshop versus windows viewer..

anyway, no excuses! let me give another go at editing the pics again

I find the post-processing is good, the exposure looks acceptable (on my monitor)... ;p
