Not that we want to ride on out bro's misfortune, but we're really curious to see what it is.

1) Many say it's fungus
2) One it's a possible lens manufacturing fault
3) Another it's lens separation
4) Says it's a dropped floor issue (also lens separation but of a different cause)

Need to look at the actual item to have a better gauge. We can only guess so much by looking at the not so clear pic. How wil a poll help here?

Personally I don't think it's fungus. And if I'm correct, then there is nothing to complain about.

It was an offer the buyer still accepted the offer KNOWING that this mysterious white compound was there. Morally of course, there's something seriously wrong with the buyer. But then again I doubt it's fungal growth.

Why the seller doesn't respond is beyond me. Perhaps he is afraid of getting flamed? Or does he see this thread not fit to reply to?

Now, even if it was fungus then the seller, well morally I think there is something wrong then.

i just went down to sigma service centre... put my lens there for them to check... anyway its my fault... trust no one... its just a gentle reminder to all of you guys... Just don't let me catch that person... don't darn reply me in sms also ... guys don't sell him anything or buy anything from this person.
