this is a good camera, but i still prefer the upcoming OMD-EM5 with IBIS, EVF, weather sealed and olympus colour.
no on board flash is a deal breaker for me..
Sometimes I wonder if IBIS and OIS really help a lot or are people looking for the placebo effect especially considering how many people come to the forums asking "why is my IS not working?" only to find that the bugger was using a shutter speed of 1/10 or something of the like...there is a small flash that we can attach to it, so not an issue.
GX1 is without EVF and IBIS is a double breaker for me too.
so when everything is consider, i will still vote for OMD-EM5.

IBIS and OIS are very useful when you take photos of still subjects under low light or shoot w/ tele lenses, but not as useful when shooting at moving subjects like kids or families.

Yes. no inbuilt-flash is definitely a deal-breaker for me.
and price as well....not too sure how much the EM5 will cost locally...I presume it would be much more expensive than GX1?

1. How do I do exposure compensate?
2. How do I do flash compensate?
3. How do I format the SD card?
Thanks.
