G11 and S90 Arrival and Prices in SINGAPORE !!!!!

was thinking of getting G10 or LX3, when G11 comes out..

then seeing through the stuffs, i realise the S series is also out!!!

which one should i get? G11, LX3, S90?
I know so far LX3 got a lot of good reviews, but it short of a UW case that is optional to me. (aftermarket there is, but damn ex)
so my option is open now to G11 or S90 both with UW case!!!

Pricing is also important!!! anyone?

I do not get what yo mean by UW case for LX3? You may check the LX3 user thread / accessories thread, many user mentioned they using other case, some only SGD20

I dont mean waterproof case. i mean case for diving, as for lx3 now, i only can find after market like 10bar and nautilus, also another UK brand, all three are damn ex!
So since G11 and S90, coming with their own and should be cheaper, I sticking to them, but which should I get?
Anyone know the pricing? S90

yeah the long wait is killing me

Though there were already a number of pics using this camera on flickr. And I'm pretty much impress, I dunno if it was influenced by what I'm reading from the reviews or the shot is really amazing.

It's been out in the US now for a couple of weeks.

Still no sight and sound of the S90 locally. :dunno: In contrast G11 has been out already for nearly 3 weeks. The S90 is even released in Malaysia already? Wonder why the long wait....difficulty in acquiring stocks?

There are already dozens of S90 pics out online, esp. at dpreview forums...go to the 'Canon Talk' section.

So far user reviews abt its IQ has been fairly mixed. The main buzz is its reputedly good performance at high ISO. However there's also a lot of talk abt using the camera in fully auto mode will not result in good pictures.

Hmm, just found out Shasinki (online camera shop in Malaysia) selling RM1495... Seems cheaper then tangty's

Usually Shasinki is selling slightly expensive then shops. I would guess probably can get RM1450. = SGD604 (1SGD=2.4MYR) But again, Sg might selling slightly expensive. I guess probably around SGD620 street price...

Is this the RRP (Recommended Retail Price)? If so, guess it will be around $650-$670 street pricing.

If anyone has any info on when the camera will be available in Sg, please do update here. Tks! :thumbsup:
