Fujifilm X100T , the Thrill of Control & the Passion for Shooting

I have not open my flash yet so didn't try that...

btw... anyone bought screen protectors for the x100t? the shop i went to does not have exact fit protectors..

People who have X100T, check with you guys, the EF-20 flash is it hard to de-attach from the x100t? I got mine, but it's so tight. I need to use force to pull it out, really scare later will drop the camera.. Not only EF-20, even my Yong Nuo flash also very hard to attach or de-attach..

People who bought X100T please help me check. If mine is the only set tat behave this way, I guess I have to bring it to the service center liao..

just tried it last weekend no issues in detaching.. just make sure you unlock the it before pulling out i guess you already did this ;)

In fact i find it harder to open the battery compartment of the external flash.. took 30mins of forcefully trying it and finally just use youtube to teach me how to do it :D

Hi, anyone can PM me the "best" shop in SG to get the X100T (best in term of price)? Just wanted the camera and not so much any accessories. I am going Kyoto in 2 weeks time and would also like to know if buying in Kyoto, would it be even better price (but need English menu and not Japanese). Thanks.

Hi,

just tried mine. same problem as yours. really tight fitting, to de-attach, i have to slowly twist the flash left right left right to get it out of the mount.. this is ridiculous, think tolerance of the mount rail is too tight :(

did some googling, think this is not new, happens for the X100S too

Ya man, this is really rubbish. I don't understand why Fuji did not fix this problem. I really scare one day I might drop the camera while trying to de-attach it..

Here are some photos taken with the X100T - JPG straight out of camera, classic chrome filter.

Colors are slightly more muted compared to non filter mode, but also more representative of what we see in real life. Excellent dynamic range even from JPGs, so I do think the RAW files will be even better - will see once LR start supporting X100T. Macro mode is pretty impressive and handy - a good complement to my Leica system that while excelling in most areas, tends fall short in macro.
