Buy what u need and really will shoot , freebies are just to entice u though I must say Fuji gives useful freebies (batt, hood, half case, more than decent speed card) unlike some other brands that still persist in flimsy tripods etc.

At $1899, I can buy a DLux T109 with spare change for extra battery though :_(

I've always been rather fond of the X100 series and am finally willing/able to pull the trigger. Do you guys reckon it's worth going for the promo (don't want or need the grip or flash) or waiting till Jan/Feb for a price drop?*

Had a good time handling the X100T today at Fujifilm's event at OneRochester.

The X100T is a much improved X100S in reality. Better handling , the 1/3 click stops on the Aperture ring, AF speed all the way down to the firmware. I really hope the firmware for X100T filters down to the X100s. Get it if u have the budget!

I am new to Fuji cameras and just placed a preorder for fuji x100t. Was wondering if it is worth getting the PWP Conversion lenses together.

It will very much depend on Is the 35mm FL sufficient for u. The WCL and TCL converters give u 28 and 50mm FLs respectively.

I've the TCL and I love it simply because the 50mm works better for portraits.

Price wise my advice is really really really to make a visit to Funan and ask what's the current street price , u will probably realize it's not very far from the PwP purchase prices.

so existing x100/s users who want to upgrade to the x100T, how ? is it worth to get the preorder ?

if street price for the x100T without those freebies is at least $300 cheaper, maybe the preorder is not that worth.
