wow a telly lens... 72-200mm f/4.0 IS --- I wonder how the optical viewfinder would compensate for the zoom. im thinking something like the x10 or perhaps optical viewfinder would only go to a certain focal length, then the EVF would kick in as zoomed further....

Fujifilm launched the 35mm f1.4 (equal to 53mm in 35mm format) at the same time

Image quality I think should be better or equal to X100. It will be retarded to sell this camera is the image quality is a downgrade.

More importantly is the AF speed and accuracy which will determine how frustrating it's going to be.

The advantage of having aperture rings is a major plus. Together with shutter dial and EV and manual focus (assume it's improve), it's going to be a joy to shoot with the camera.

You don't understand what's 50mm? Fuji has 18f2, 35f1.4 and 60f2.4, where got 50f1.2?

I've already told my usual store to add me onto the list... I'm sure I'm the first on the list..... initial purchase: THE WHOLE DAMN SET !!

It SEEMS super sexy..... perhaps best thing since the Film Bodied Hasselblad X-PAN ( Yup also made by Fujifilm )

Camera investment will be quite heavy. but if you consider it has no AA filter (I am a big fan no AA fitler), and Fuji color, EXR sensor, and the soooooo retro body.
Fujinon lens are affordable, USD499 each (around SGD650) Quite a good deal if we are comparing m4/3 primes ie 12mm f2 at SGD1K, 25mm f1.4 at SGD800.

However the range of the lense (18mm, 35mm, 60mm) not in my favor. Would be only getting when 14mm is launched, that will be in 2013.

Body, and initial 3 lenses set will be some SGD $4300 - 4600 .

Note.... Leica will be pulling something out of the works in 2012...... Im guessing a "Mini M9" with a 12-16MP crop sensor, SGD 4-4.5K Body, and some lenses in the 1.2-2.5K range... and an M lens adaptor.

My only bloody worry is execution. I will wait for the reviews and the first user comments on the system.

I jump from x100 to Ricoh gxr!! I think the only thing tat stop me from buying this will be... No built in flash!!! Useful sometime when u need it. Sometimes love to take photo of friends during clubbing or parties. Haha.

Fujifilm succeeded with X100 because it is niche as a Pro's toy. I'm a happy X100 user despite its shortcomings. But I will certainly not fork out ~$3000 for a system with dedicated lens focusing "by-wire"!
