i think there is no comparison. you gotto see the picture from camera that has no AA filter. it has the 3D effect and very sharp.

Potentially, the OVF cant work with zoom , it should be something similar to the X10.

On the primes, the OVF will work , as the x-mount can probably recognise the lens like m9, and make adjustments.

Nevertheless, with EVF, all lens will work.

the upcoming three lenses are all primes

Not sure what are you trying to say here, but zooming works in OVF of X10

Apologies for the language, is saying that parallel correction and accurate framing may not work well with zoom lens on the ovf in Xpro1.

The ovf on x10 works with zoom, but it doesnt show AF confirmation and doesnt corrects for parallax error.

now... lets see who is going to be the first China/HK OEM manufacturer to put up a M-mount to fuji X-mount adapter on ebay... ;p

I wish for a m43-FujiX mount.

does it come with focus peaking?

Everyone is waxing lyrical about the camera and rightfully so thanks to its predecessors and the EXR in camera processing that has awed a lot of people. The thing to take note: of all the lenses on sale one is conspicuously absent. the 35mm Equivalent of 24mm APS-C lens.

That's is in the same focal length as the x100. That's what I am afraid of: the fear of product cannibalization and it has made the Prox-1 offering not that fantastic out of the door. If one wants to sell as system, then sell every focal length out there that the customer wants, including the 35mm. I think they have err thinking that those buying x100 will buy XPro1 hence there's no need for the 35. I offer the alternative view. There are a lot of people who did not buy the x100 because it was a fixed 35mm. And those who bought the 35mm x100 would also want the 35mm out of the door with the xPro1 because that's the focal length they like (that's me).

I will wait since I am happy to shoot with the x100 at the focal length i like. Furthermore will wait for the cheaper knock off accessories to come online before jumping into this system. If it was made to work with Nikon lens out of the box, then I wouldn't have so many things to think about and get this once it is out in the market.

And I would have to agree. No zoom lens may mean two things. The hybrid viewfinder don't work with it well OR the quality is not up to scratch. The later is understandable since zooms can never match the iQ of primes anyway.

For the moment I will wait and see.

There is nothing on Steve huff that is new.....I was expecting more.
And black edition X100? Isnt the X100 already all black??!!

is the x10 that is all black.

if I remember correctly there is a special limited edition all black x100. I may be wrong.

Sad to say the m43 lens is not up to scratch for me. A lot of image manipulation in the camera including distortion correction.

this is one of the accessories that I will wait before buying the XPro1. The original from fujifilm won't be cheap if there's one. Then again, I never like adaptors.

Dedicated M mount adapter in the works! Wow.

Maybe finally it can manul focus properly. Thats my main gripe on the x100. Optical if it is same or bettercompare to the x100 then i am almost sold.

Just about any company does distortion correction these days. Nikon does that, and Canon does it for their compacts. Even Leica does it.
