what i meant was the Fluorescent light (Cool White). never dealt with this before so i was trying around still need to try out MORE.

besides that i do think the picture should be quite okay.. probably a little far to show a macro shot. (maybe maybe)

pns is so much easier to use. (fuji v10)
You gotta play around with white balance if the camera is unable to display the colour properly.
Increase the Aperture value to increase the depth of field.

its all just a matter of getting to know your camera... once you know her, everything will be easier. :)

Just realised that MS color advertised it as iso800, but its iso1600 on the fuji website. Hmm

o dear. Should have bought this instead.

I just got the camera and was having great fun with it. Image quality is good and is happy with most features of the cameras.

After looking at the sample video posted at DCresource, I find that my video do not achieve the same quality as theirs and wonder why my video is noisy.

Any user here kind enough to share some videos to see if am I the only person facing such problem?

The F31fd gives better picture quality than this S5700 because of a better sensor (larger 1/1.7" vs 1/2.5" and also Super CCD HR vs normal CCD) and probably a better lens. Noise at higher ISO is lower in the F31fd than this S5700 and the F31fd is capable of 2.2 frame per second while this S5700 is only 1.4 fps. .......etc.

The main advantage of this S5700 over the F31fd is the longer zoom.

If you can get near your subject more often than not, then the F31fd is probably a better choice. The S5700 is a very basic budget camera and suffers from purple fringing etc. in certain shooting situations. If a person needs very good quality picture as well as a long zoom and are not on extreme tight budget, then the S6500fd would probably be a better choice.

Problem is, I need the zoom lol.

yup. it's claimed tt e 6500fd uses e same sensor found on f30 n f31fd, along with its 10.3x zoom. =]

I've been busying prepping for my Mid-Year Exams...
So somehow I just carried my camera out today out of the blue, while studying with friends...and BOY! was I lucky... Saw this REALLY cute Thai girl and well, these people still amazed me to this day with their warmth and hospitality... LOL

thanks in advance..

finally, successor to the s5600. looks good. a better lcd screen, intelligent flash, and now accepts SD card as well. :)

downsides, look like they did away with RAW and NO SUPER-CCD! why fuji?! :(
