I jst tried using my new S100FS to shoot. But am disappointed that the photos turned out not as sharp and colors are not as vivid/vibrant. is this bcos due to my settings? can anyone help? Otherwise, i'll consider selling off this baby.
haha.... if u're keen in a 4-5 months old Canon 350D with Batt grip for an exchange with your S100fs with some top up from you, then PM me....
I think DSLR is not for me.... my photo skillls sucks big, huge, humungus time!:sweatsm::sweatsm:

have any of you taken with 3rd party flash? how about a shot of the camera with the flash so we roughly know how it looks like...

with bounce flash
Seem that pic turn out quite good with bounce flash + difuser + ISO400.
Got some good result with this combination but subject in my photo don't allow me to post it here;p
Hi! I'm totally new to photography, and wanted to give prosumer cameras a try. A friend of mine recommended Fujifilm S100fs, and I have read reviews on it. Seems like a pretty good cam to start with. Anyone knows the current market price for it, and locations for a good deal? Many thanks in advance!

Got mine from Parisilk about a month ago at $834 c/w two 2G XD cards + case.
FYI, when you go down to Parisilk & ask for quote, most likely they will quote you a higher price. Not to worry & just quote them the price you saw in CS & they will discount for you.
Everytime I when down to their store @ Holland Village(as only this store sell camera accessories) to ask for quote, their price will be a bit higher elsewhere(I think maybe lot's of angmo visit their store as it's in Holland Village).
Just bargain with them & they will lower the price, but remember to do your homework first
Went to Botanic Garden on Sunday to take some photos.
Haven't been there for about 10 years & found that it changed so much.
Found that you need $5 to go to the National Orchid Garden & thus bring my little girl to the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden to play instead.

Little question here.
Found that I can't focus on the flowers if I'm too close(normal macros mode is 10cm).
Even the super macros mode doesn't seem to focus if I get too close to the flower(taking the risk of the flower touching my lens somemore)
How does those people take photos of the small insect so close & so sharp?
Do I need to get those super macros lens attachment for it to work?

Actually just opposite my house.
The quoted me S100 at $999 w/ gst.
Free gift:
- canon selphy printer
- 4GB SD card
- Camera case
If I remember correctly canon selphy printer cost around $150.
Still considering if worth buying.

Hi, you know what is the model of the printer(like CP770 or ES20)
Maybe you can look @ the following website from canon
