Hmm..
I think the killer point for the x100 is not really the fact that the lens is interchangeable, thats not the selling point of this camera.
The fact that the controls in your reach on the camera, you can fully adjust it, aperture ring in front(makes the S90gay), fully in your reach to adjust. Compared to the cameras of today, gotta scroll through a A380 panel of buttons to get to settings...........
A quick switch on the speed dials, you are sorted. Not trying to be funny but as for IS? Erm, cameras 50 years ago worked perfect without IS, dont see why that should be a selling point. Unless photographers these days have mild parkinson.
Then again, if it had interchangeable lenses & if there is a capability for adapters to mount other mount lenses, the competition is sweeped by the X100, Sony & the M4/3 guys have to really sweat their nuts to pull of something fast before they lose market share.

I was initially thinking of the M8 or a Ricoh GRDIII or Canon G11 at the year end to be my first digital camera but damn, the X100 just blew the rest away! heehee.....
